Process

A proven process—not a guess.

We do not start with mockups. We start with clarity: who the site is for, what it must achieve, and how your team will run it after launch.

The phases below describe a typical custom website or application engagement. Smaller tasks and white-label collaborations follow the same discipline in a lighter format.

Phase 01

Discovery & strategy

We align on business goals, audiences, and success metrics before pixels or tickets. That includes stakeholder interviews, competitive context, and technical constraints.

Typical deliverables

  • Written goals and primary conversion paths
  • Sitemap and information architecture direction
  • Platform recommendation (WordPress, Statamic, Nuxt, etc.)
  • Rough timeline, phases, and budget bands

Phase 02

UX & design

We translate strategy into flows and interfaces your team can stress-test early. Design systems and components are planned so development stays efficient and the site can grow.

Typical deliverables

  • Wireframes or low-fidelity flows where helpful
  • High-fidelity UI aligned to your brand
  • Responsive layouts and key template definitions
  • Collaborative review cycles with consolidated feedback

Phase 03

Development & QA

Clean, documented implementation with performance and accessibility in mind. We favor stacks your team can maintain—or we stay on with a managed plan.

Typical deliverables

  • Production-ready front end and CMS integration
  • Staging environment for approvals
  • Basic analytics and SEO baseline (titles, meta, indexing)
  • Quality checks across devices and critical user paths

Phase 04

Launch, training & optimization

Go-live is planned, not improvised: DNS, redirects, monitoring, and handoff. After launch we train editors and recommend a cadence for measurement and improvements.

Typical deliverables

  • Launch checklist and rollback plan
  • CMS training for day-to-day publishing
  • Documentation for common updates
  • Optional retainer or Managed Website Platform onboarding
